Rescued from a puddle.... #1
I rescued this little fellow from a puddle while doing some surveys in flooded farmland in Wales last week and put him back into the main watercourse. I reckon it's a stickleback looking a bittle colourless due to stress but my colleague thinks otherwise. Not the best photo. Any help would be much appreciated...

Hi lenny

I would say he is too, given a quick double check on google images. Certainly the right shape.

How apt it was, that is was you who found him

Ever considered a native British coldwater tank? The thought has crossed my own mind a few times I have to say. Both the idea of a newt tank or a stickleback tank would appeal to me.

Note to oneself: Must behave with tanks!
