water changing #1
well here i am at my first water change of around 20%

do i have to add new water at same temp as tank ? if not will it kill any fish ??

i am using API dechlorinator in the change

It's best to get the temperature of the fresh water as close to the tank temp as possible. I use boiled water from the kettle to warm it up.

Use a mix of cold from tap topped up with some hot from kettle. Depends on how cold the cold water is but mine usually needs about 2 litres of boiling water per 10 of cold to get to around 25C. Doesn't need to be precise though - if tank and new water feel the same to your hand it's close enough
