Re: Tapatalk #11
Tapatalk has got nothing to do with Apple... It's available on Apple, Android and I think Windows mobile too.

If it was by Apple it would cost about ?300 and have to be updated every other week... (Not a fan either)

Re: Tapatalk #12
Ah right - it was the mention of it in the same sentence as iPhone that threw me. So much Apple related stuff is proprietary I assumed it was just for their products.

Have to admit I don't take a lot of notice of 'phone stuff. Mine does what I bought it for (Omnia II) and I don't bother with apps etc Much as Windows has its faults I'll take it over anything Apple any day.

I don't agree with Apple either but viewing other forums using tapatalk is so much easier.

True, you may get asked to download the app when you come across a forum that uses it but that'll be the last time you do.

35,000 forums use it. I'm a fan.

Fortunately it's not an issue for me as I never view the net on my 'phone. At my age the screen is just too small for anything like that so I always use my PC or Netbook.

Re: Tapatalk #16
My eyesight isn't what it was but luckily I've got one of those new-fangled phones with a huge screen, about twice the size of the <spit> iPhone.

PC screens are easier to read though but spending all day outside at work doesn't make pinching, scrolling, double-tapping and zooming easy on my phone.

It doesn't look like this format is compatible anyway.
