Never Trust stick on thermometers.. #1
Here is a very good reason why you should not trust, those stick on temp strips..

This is my marine tank, here is the temp reading on a stick on one..

Well worth the money.. spec if the fish are well expensive.. and you want an accurate temp reading,..

Believe it or not my digital thermometer let water in and then broke

At least my old fashioned glass one hasn't let me down yet!

I use a glass one and an external one with a probe that goes in the water - it was only £10 from Maplin and gives the exact same reading as the glass one

My digital ones were cheaper than the glass ones :) Got 3 for less than £6 on eBay
