Family don't know, Neighbours don't know, I don't know! #1
I have two fish I need to know the species of ...

FISH 1: It is pure black with red body parts. (Its fins are red and its dorsal fins are red). It seems around 1.5inches.

FISH 3: It is orangey red with a large black top body.It seems about 1.5inches too.

If you could help me you are really helpful. Sorry, no photo could be taken!

Tropical or coldwater?

Species one sounds like a tropical Rainbow Shark (do a search on google images) so hope he's not in a pond!

Pics are a must for ID

because they are tropical fish not coldwater so wouldn't think it would survive in a pond in this country climate that is if it was the fish in the link a photo would be great even if not very good

No need to worry now, I have taken out the fish once when it got tangled in pond netting to reveal it wasnt a red tailed shark nor rainbow shark. Happy to reveal that the previous owners didnt keep tropical fish in a fresh/coldwater pond :D

No I didn't sadly :( The only thing I can say is that he looked like a red tailed shark, but not red tailed, if that makes sense????
