anyone have any ideas on this ? ... #1

hey guys

i stopped using my Under gravel filter a few months ago, and and i am looking to get a "lid" for the holes where the two pipes that returned the water to the surface went.

anyone have any ideas how i can block them off?

Any chance of a photo of the offending holes? I can't quite picture what it looks like.

A homebrew shop should sell corks that would fit nicely

I take it that there is no chance of removing the filter? It's just that without it "on" it may end up anaerobic underneath it which isn't a good thing

You may be better off leaving it on and suplimenting it with whatever your new filter is.

its been off for a while and everything seems fine
i have the filter in my Sig running

ill get a picture up a bit later on for everyone

You should be ok either just corking it or filling it with gravel.
