Questions on tank cycle #1
So I have my tank all set up (For about 2 weeks now)

I have added some cycle starter and the ammonia levels are now high (after adding it over 3 days) about 3.5ppm

I also have some algae growing on the glass.

So next steps.....
Monitor until ammonia goes down and nitrite goes up??
Can I scrape the algae from the glass or should I leave it?
When should I do partial water changes?

Thanks for any advice

Re: Questions on tank cycle #2
You can clean the algae off.

Just wait until ammonia and nitrite are zero then do a water change.

Are you using live rock? I wouldn't of bothered with any cycle products.

I would also add some phosphate remover as soon as possible.
