Re: Just for a bit of fun :o) What names have you given your fishy friends #11
Thank you to everyone that partisipated in my thread it was a bit of fun wasnt it and thank you for the nice comments.
Its nice to see that the fish we keep are thought enough of to to named as like one of the family.

Surely with all the members or visitors this website has there are more that would like to please share their fishy names with the rest of us.
All are welcome :)
Many Thanks

My last remaining Goldfish is called Spooky as he has a tendancy to float motionless, staring at you.

My old Black Moor was called Roger, as in Roger Moore the 007 actor.

My Convict cichlid has a tendancy to be called Aggro Fish, because she will viciously attack anything else, even with my plastic tank divider in the way (I had to treat my Goldfish and Convict for the same thing at the same time so it made sense to stick them in the same tank with a divider).

As said, Danios are too fast to name, except the big eggladen female who's called "The Big Little Fish"

Ha ha have enjoyed reading the names of all the fish. So thought i would add mine....

My goldfish are called...

Bead (because I am mad on seedbead weaving)
Bou (sons idea)
Brian and Brain (again sons idea and they are little characters off the animated film Igor)

I also have 4 dwarf frogs called
Froggie
Freddie
Freda
Frodo

No real reasons on these names just thought it'll be funny naming them all begining with F.

Like a few on here I haven't named my cardinals and barbs as they aren't distinguisable.

I had two fancies before I knew anything about fishkeeping.

Fingers who died within a month and Sushi who lived for just over 2 years.

No idea what the new tropical tank fish would be called although I'm quite liking the idea of a bristlenose or butterfly plec called Hoover. All depends on final water testing though I guess.
Formerly rubbish fishkeeper.

Think bristlenose - butterfly plec (hillstream loach) won't do in your tropical tank - see http://www.loaches.com/articles/hills ... -at-life-in-the-fast-lane
