Male or Female ??? #1

I have two small 5cm bristle nose plecos
and was just wondering how I can tell if they are male or female.I have had a close look but couldnt find any of those obveous! you know dangly bits or the lack of. But I guess it wouldnt be that easy.
Can any one shed some light on this subject

The boys might not show bristles until they are a bit older though.

I just had a look and (dyson) has very small whiskers
but (Electro) wont come out of the bog wood tunnel so I can have a better look but thanks for the additional info
