LR rubble #1
I have noticed that some retailers sell LR rubble but can I just break up one of my existing pieces with a hammer or is there any reason why this would be a no no for some reason that I am completely overlooking?

Yes you can break up your own existing LR to make LR rubble - shops normally just sell the broken bits at a cheaper cost.
