Hopefully, I am worrying about nothing but thought I would check. I was fragging a coral with a razor blade when I dropped the blade and it fell to the back of the tank. I would have to dismantle my reef to get it back, so I would only like to do this as a last resort.
I have googled the razor blade in question and it is made of rust resistant stainless steel. Should I be worried or just leave it be?
It might well be stainless , but there are different grades of stainless. It won't rust while you are shaving with it in fresh water , but it will definately rust in a saltwater environment and poison your tank.
I know it's a pain , but get it out now.
I have a razor blade that i use for fragging , and it is rusty as hell now ( i haven't used it for a bit )
Do yourself a favour and get it out now.
