humbug damsel #1
Hi I am having problems with my humbug damsel, my maroon clown is bullying it. I think I may have to re-home it.

I don't wont to take it to my lfs as I would have no guarantee over its future.

Re: humbug damsel #2
It could be because its the latest memember of your tank. Remember fish are teratorial.
For example my Yellow Tang was the first to enter my tank and still is the biggest.
When i added my latest fish (a regal tang) the yellow tang bullyed him by nudging him, swimming into him and slapping him with his fins.
This is just to certifiy that hes the boss, it settled now and they follow each other around :)

try waiting it out

Re: humbug damsel #3
nether fish is new, I was given both at them same time in a 45l tank a few years ago, I moved them in to a 120l tank just after christmas. It could just be that they are still working out who owns what, but the aggression seams to have gotten worse over the last month or so.

Re: humbug damsel #4
Both of these fish are very territorial and aggressive and grows with age and maturity. It will be a case of decided who goes or watch one die. Maroons are extremely aggressive and most like the Damsel will go.

Might sound a bit harsh but one has to go.

Re: humbug damsel #7
I have found out why my clown fish has been more aggresive. She's layed eggs.
