internal bacteria treatment #1
hi folks,one of my fancy goldfish has internal bacteria problems.[found this out from captk] i have added interpet no.9 treatment to tank.he is only eating tiny amounts. have tried mashed peas.is there anything else i can do to help him?

keep the tank dark it will reduse stress and help him feel better quicker

I dont know what every one elses thinks but you try feeing him powderd fry food its realy small and full of goodness (my gd sujested that )

Hi Helen,
Just make sure carbon is out the filter and water is well oxygenated.

Medicated food if you can get some would be ideal. :)
Aqua meds, romet, medi gold are some of the brand names.

Tamianth, medicated food/antibiotics are rare as hen's teeth in the UK. File that for future reference.

my fish has just died. i can't believe i've lost another one. for the last 4 days he couldn't eat from the top of the tank.i was feeding him using a pair of tweezers. today he wouln't eat at all. his whole body looked bloated today including his head and eyes.i hope he enjoys fishy heaven. he was a beautiful fish.

For future refence yes medi-carp will be fine, its just that they are bigger pellets.
