ID My Rock...
#1
Hey guys,
I've just bought another tank, and it came with a box of rocks and I'm not sure what it is.
I think it is lava rock - but can anyone confirm this???

It certainly looks like pumice stone, or biorb ceramic substrate (both of which are lava rock) so I'd guess yes, so should be inert - try the vinegar drip thing ...

Drip vinegar on it, if its calcium based it will fizz. Any sign of fizzing and you know it will increase the alkalinity of the tank water.
It has to be rinsed again before use!
