Ident please #1
Hi everyone

I have 2 things I would like identifying. This one I think is going to be bad news because its growing and even when the Red leg hermits get in it and give it a trim it recovers fairly fast. What do you think?

The second one appears to be a group of nems, bet they are bad news as well because they came in as hitch hikers. Any ideas?

Mike

hi mike, the first pics looked like green star polyps which are good but spread around quick. You could frags them for friend etc.
The second pics is one I've not seen before with tenacles with brown spot on the end. Hard to tell if it nems species.

Re: Ident please #5
hi

second pic definitely not a tube worm. I have fed it a bit of shrimp and it eats like a nem, closes round it and eats it. have about 4 of them in a group. They seem to like to open in the evening and during the night.

Any other ideas?

well done tony looks like that maybe the one. Think i will keep feeding them and see how they grow. Just didn't want to be feeding somthing that i would regret later.

Cheers
