Black Fan Tail #1
Has anyone ever come across a black fan tail without bulging eyes? I would like a plain one (neither black moor nor oranda...)

I dont think you will find a black fantail as they are more chocolate brown and normally end up changing colours but if you find any do let me know

They are all black to start with and then change colour as they mature, I have brought goldfish with some black on them because i liked the colouring only to end up with a gold fish.

Do you mean you had a calico that became a gold fish?

Well you see the fish on the far left of the screen, that was half black half gold when i brought him, in that pic you can a little of the black still remaining.

Re: Black Fan Tail #7
It can also be down to your water that they change colour, my ph is on the low side and one of my fish changed from yellow to white in a matter of 4 years, also my lovely veiltail which I bought because of her blue and calico colouring has lost all the lovely blue
