New anemone help #3
Ive bought an anemone today. Im a little worried about his progress.
I let the bag float in the water for a good hour or so before opening it and leaving it for another hour, every 15 mins adding a cup of my tank water into it.

Since being added to the tank the aanemone has curcled up and withdrawn its tenticals .. ive placed a prawn near him just incase.

Im getting worried .. is this normal?
my salts running a little low atm, and im bring it up slowly but my Marine fish are doing fine. Any ideas?

My salts currently at 1.018 according to my hydrometre

Mushroom #5
Hey guys, im in need of some advice

i recently (last week) bought some mustrooms as i was told they are easy to keep, hard-wearing etc etc..

but i woke this morning to find my fish pecking at it, one or two of the mushroom heads are now streched out into long silly string looking shapes.

for now i places a see through plastic bowl over the top with serveral whole cut into it for water flow. Is this a good idea?

whats my next step?

The only guy that was working that day was a 16 kid whom had no idea as he tried to let me walk away with RO water rather than salted -_-

Re: Hammerhead Help! #9
Thanks for this help btw :)

1) the coral shouldnt be too strong. but it has a slight current near it .. i shall try moving it
2) i have a Arcadia 250watt
3) the bag it was placed in was full of water and had a bit of sand within it. The coral did roll around a bit during transport.
