the venturi is at its lowest setting, do u think its beacuse its just set up within the last 24 hours?

Hi all,

Sorry for not being on here for so long, i decided to bite the bullet and start up my marine tank.

Its a 100L tank fitted with TMC V2 400 skimmer, but the bubble stop does not seem to be working as ive got bubbles entering the tank??

Its a brand new set up and when its on it just totally foams up like bubble bath at mo

Any sugestions?

it looks like its name "mud" and needs lighting 24 hours aday. also you will need to change it every two years.

It really need to be in a seperate filter so water flows over it and plants can grow in it

best not to use it in the tank, but as a seperate filter.

Not used it personally but def wanna try it.

you can always try a miracle mud filter, not had one my self but heard a lot of good reviews on it worth a look into it. Used on fresh water and marine tanks.

Keeping an anemone will help make the tank look more natural and it also depends if the clown fish you buy are captive bred or wild bred.

If they are captive its very unlikely that they would have seen an anemone!

They only real bonus of keeping an anemone is when the clown fish breed as they normally lay there eggs instinctivly at the base for protection etc etc

Dragonlord is right i made that mistake and the wrecked my reef tank *sobs* but hey it did learn me a lesson and i must admit they are stunning fish to watch.

I use carbon all the time in my tank, i like the way it scrubs the water clean. I change it every two weeks.
