oh right, i'll do the water change daily then just 10% see what happens, and i'll have a look for the prime and amquel at the LFS. i'll do the salt for a few weeks only hope it works as dont want other stuff getting worst and losing the little swimmers.

yer i agree waste of time buying cheap stuff that dont last or do the job probley! I'll have a look for them then thanks again for that!
I'm looking on ebay for tanks! my partners going to help me pay for it, and where going to get a tank for his house to re-home some of the goldies cause at least then i can still see them and look after them!
I am tank hunting so if any one see's any, please let me know

oh and also is there a chemical to get rid of ammonia from the water? to save my little fishies from turning black!

thanks for the info, really helped and heart attack not happened yet (untill i see tank price lol)
so what size filter would you have in a 55 gallon tank, and i'm guessing it would be an external filter for that size tank?

well if i was going to look for a bigger tank what size shall i aim to get to keep most of the fish, as i do love them alot and would be ashame to get rid of them!

i'm not to sure on the name of the filter but its suitable for a 110lt tank, so do you think i would be better getting bigger filter? so do you think the best thing is to re-home some of them?

hi, i'v just checked and my water test doesn't give a ammonia reading, what shall i do about that?
and my water test does tests on nitrite 2 and 3 the 2 is 0 and 3 is 40, does that help at all?
my gravel is clean i clean it every other week with the gravel hover!
i am new to all of this so i'm not to sure!

As you can see there is a few black marks on my goldie, there just came from no where! he is in a 101lt tank, i know the tank is too small for the fish i have but when i brought the tank i asked how many fish i could have in and they said 10 so i didnt think nothing off it but then after joining this site i realise that its wrong, but i have no space for a bigger tank!
does any one know what it might be? i have tested my water and it's all fine!

hey,
i am thinking about giving my goldfish cumcumber, but i'v never gave it them before so i was just woundering if you take the skin off or leave it on :D
