plants in fine gravel/sand #5
This is a question for my friend who is just setting up a new 60L tank. He's got some fine sand type gravel but wants to put plants in. Will plants grow in such a fine substrate?

New plants #8
How long should it take roughly for my plants to settle in and start to look full of life. I got my plants online so they came looking a bit rough. I'm quite impatient sometimes so just looking for a rough number of weeks so I can see if I'm on the right track.

Re: Air pump with Co2 #9
It runs 24/7 anyway so I'll just leave it that way.
Thanks

Air pump with Co2 #10
Will having my air pump running affect the Co2 going into my tank in any way? Should I have it running all the time, for a few hours or doesn't it matter?
