Re: More Convict Problems #2
sounds normal and try not to move the tank around this will make them more insecure

Re: Dwarf cichlids #5
its possible but you would need to read up on the water chemistry guides on this site and have a very good understanding of what you are changing and why the it would be a very slow and gradual change over quite a few months

Re: HIPS #8
the worst thing that's going to hit me is the scraping of the incapacity benefit just announced ive been genuinely unable to work for many years naw but ime about to be forced into a completely new medical after just completing a full set only 3 months ago all because of the stupid deficit that the banks coursed by having to be bailed out time and time agean its rediculas and if i see one more toff basicly stating that the working class offer nothing to this country ime going to smack em personally i worked from the moment i left school to the day i had my accident

naw there calling me a sponge and trying every loop hole possible to take my lifeline away from me and leave me with nothing in a time of genuine need

Re: Bolivian Rams #9
sand or gravel is fine there not bothered but lots of bog wood and plants is a must they can become very shy if not given plenty of hiding places fake plants will be fine i tend to use plants attached to bog wood so i can move things around to give the gravel/sand a good clean

what filtration would you be running?

and for mixing with others keyhole cichlids are one that they mix with well as well as corys of course but i have them in just about every tank

Re: Bolivian Rams #10
hi bud Bolivian rams would be perfect for your water they can happily cope with quite a wide range of water ive kept them for years and are defanetly one of my favourite cichlids

you must make sure you get a Bolivian ram not a golden or blue ram as they will pass them of as Bolivians

hears my old timer spike
