Thanks for your help guys, ended up finding a young lad that lived about half an hour from me who had experience with marines, owned 2 or 3 tropical tanks and worked in a fish shop, he was quite happy to swap my marine tank for one of his tropical tanks (minus all the bits), so now I join the tropical forum and will leave you guys to it. The tropical tank looks fab! The wife calls it "tacky" I call it, "colourful!"

Carpet being laid tomorrow, still got this live rock and clown fish, anyone at all interested, £40 for the 8kg's and clown fish, needs immediate collection so ideally someone in Essex/Suffolk

Alternatively, £150 and take the entire tank, all my accessories, rock, fish and snail.

Spoken to every fish shop within a 20 mile radius of my house and none of them will give me store credit for my rock and will give me a third of the price for my clown fish.

It's an Orca Nano Tank, big enough for 3/4 fish, loads of nice coral. Good starting point, it needs a little bit of TLC but if you want it then let me know.

I was going to convert to standard trops but if I can get a taker for the whole thing then I'm more than happy to let it go.

You could always take the short trip down to Essex and buy my Orca setup off me, only want £200 for the lot, comes with sand, water, 8kg's live rock, clown fish, turbos snail, numerous bits of very healthy mushroom coral, salt, test kit, treatments, nets, etc etc

Needs a little bit of TLC as I just haven't had the time to look after it properly since my son was born but no more than a quick scrub on the rocks and stocking with what you want.

Any live stock that I have had they have always said no.

Will drop them an email though.

My local swallows and sea pets are useless and don't offer credit for anything you give them.

Guys, I need some help with this one, I really have got to get shot of this Live Rock but I'm really struggling, I can't just dispose of it as it cost me an arm and a leg. Does anyone know someone looking for 8kg's of the stuff?

It's got some really nice mushroom coral attached and I'm only asking for £60 for it.

Ebay didn't work, it's listed on Gumtree, but i'm seriously running out of ideas.

This rock is finishing in 18 minutes, so far 1 bid so it's only at a penny.

Cheers fella, I'm only messing with you, I knew you wouldn't take it, was just trying to keep the thread lively in case it sparked some interest. Got the rock on ebay so hopefully I'll get enough for it to fund the cleaning and restocking of the tank when I convert it to Trop.

Some neons and a Samurai is going to look so cool! Not to menthion the Spongebob Squarepants ornament on the bed.
