AquaPlus by Nutrafin #4
Here in london i cant get hold of RO water. My mum wont get a RO unit. And im not lugging gallons and gallons of water on the bus for miles. My last option is to add some aquaplus to my tap water. It says it will nutralise heavy metals and get rid of chlorine and chlorimine (sp). Is this theasable (will it work).
Thanks
sean

Re: New to nanos #5
What works for 1 dosent always work for others. Im still sticking by my 1 pound per gallon on the LR. This is the only forum where they say its 1KG per gallon. Im not saying anyone is wrong

Re: New to nanos #6
A tank can go bad, when you have soooo much LR your fish cant swim thats too much. 20KG in my tank would leave no room.

Re: New to nanos #7
Well i will not need a skimmer. You shouldent use a skimmer in a tank under 30 gallons because its not going to be heavly stocked so there is no point. Also on the LR because its Fuji which is porious you only need 1 pound per gallon. Also there is such a thing as too much LR bacause if your fish dont have room to swim its too much.

Not to be rude but the information you give is very missleading. If someone was reading this it could make their tank go bad and also cost them extra money.
Dont get it twisted!!!!

Re: New Tank - Pioneer Fish Dying - No reason #9
Sorry for the loss,
Did you use the sponges from your current tank. Tetras dont really make good starter fish for a tank as they can be 'funny'. New aquariums stress all fish full stop. also i wouldent add the neons untill the tank is mature at about 5-6 months to a year. Well since there was fin-rot i would change a some water.
Good luck!!!!
Sean
