Normal tropical flakes and pleco tablets

He’s only 2” and normally hides all the time!
Recently he is out in the open on his back, still breathing thankfully!
Any ideas what might be troubling him?
His name is Charlie!

My Angelfish have laid eggs on the side of the filter box, of all places!
They are fanning them and keeping other fish away.
However, I have two problems…I need to clean the filter and how do I keep the babies?

Not sure what is wrong with my fish? It’s been like this for a while and I tried a medication but nothing has changed! Any advice?

I bought these as rainbow fish but they have grown to be so different I’m not sure what they are!
