Re: Sick fantail for sell

Hello again, sorry for the delayed reply.
I was able to get a combination of 2 products from a local fish store : colombo alparex + cytofex the guy told me to use 4ml/100l water to treat my new sarasa and common goldfish. I discarded the fancies option.
The treatment regimen 3 days .
I moved both of them in a 10l bucket filled with mineral water , i gave them some sera royal koi granules and after a while i added 0.4 ml of the combo medication + airstone ,24h later i performed a 50% water change + 5l of dechlorinated tap water +0.2ml of medication , i repeated the process after 24h (second treatmemt cycle) and 24h later (today ) i did the same thing so tomorrow i am planning to move both to the 125l , the sarasa will be moved to another aquarium later on.
I forgot to test my aquarium water iat the lfs , i believe it's already cycled as i ghost feeded the tank with floating pellets 2 times since april 20 2022 with the fish tank light always off , the aquarium does have that special smell of dirt . Some people say it's a sign of a cycled tank !!? , I must mention that i never performed any water change since the beginning of the cycling process . Do you recommend any water change before introducing the 2 goldies? If so , what's the % of water to be removed ?
Initially ,the sarasa had swollen red gills but after the treatment they are still visible from above but much less swollen . It could be due to ammonia burning since the tank where they both were was way too much overstocked. the combo meds dont treat flukes at all (i believe) so if it's due to those parasites ,then most probably my newly cycled tank will be contaminated.
Do you recommend a quarantine period after the 3 days meds regimen ? The guy from the lfs told that this is the routine they perform when fish are imported from asia .
