i've had gold fish with plants for ages now and they just dont seem interested the tanks a juwel rio 125 litres

HI guys once again sorry aint been on here for a long long time but things have been busy.

i did a tear down on saturday and thought you might like to see the results



before i moved house 7 months ago

it happens regardless of stocking level i only had 2 when i moved and the one died
and i never have more then 5 at a time may sound to much for my sive of thank but they are small and the tank is deffo well filtered my water tests prove that

yeh the top one seems to fit the syptoms but you would think they would all die close together not this far apart

all readings where zero ph was 8 and nitartes bearly showed up

i never use sprays nor does the gf. its odd i'll think its all fine and dandy add new fsh to top up the lost stock and then one will pop off again this time its a new one only had it 3 weeks last one to go was mmmm 3 weeks before that and it was my original one i won at the fair.... this was one died before i added any new stock.

he guys.... some of you might remeber me i aint been on for some time due to a recent house move. my rio 125 is now in my own front room lol.

heres my problam. i change approxamatly 24 ltrs of the 125 ltr tank every saturday the levels are always spot on nothing to report. but my gold fish wont stay alive they will drop off one by one over time for example one will die 2 months later another one will show the same problams then die within a few days. i salt the tank and add esha 2000 every time but it dont work.

here are the symtoms

they just hang in the water and dont move for hours like they are depressed then they start to sit on the bottom. then towards the end they breath fast and heavy while sitting on the bottom wobble when they move then you can garentee they will be dead by morning

i've tried a parsite medicine once before but it didnt seem to work

any ideas what am i doin wrong
