OMG! Thank you so much for that. Almost all the shrimp looked like that about two months ago, and I paid no attention.

There were no larvae or little babies, I figured it was just my imagination. Probably, there weren't any courtesy of the filter and a spot of infanticide by all the tetras in the tank.

I will have a read up on how to look after the shrimp.

She is isnt fat anymore, just "radiant" or "glowing" I guess.

Cherry shrimp don't have the larval stage, their eggs just hatch into this white, clearish minature copies of the adults and if she is not carrying eggs anymore it means the babies are just hiding somewhere and when they're ready they'll come out :)

Re: Sick Gourami #2
I agree with Fishlady, but the gourami seems to be a bit bloated. Am I right?
Are the scales protruding from the fish?

Re: My fish are dying! HELP! #3
Most rams need higher temperatures than other so that could be a cause. Guppies are hard water fish and the other fish you have mentioned are from soft water, and hardwater fish in softwater don't get their minerals they need. Glass catfish need groups of 6 or more and need bigger tank than you are offering I believe.
Stop adding fertilisers daily, which might be the main reason of fish deaths. Which fertiliser do you use?
