Molly fish pregnant or bloated #1
Hi guys,

My Molly fish lately got severely bloated. Could she be pregnant? Any advice?

Many thanks!

Re: Molly swimming problem #3
Hi fcmf, here are a few details:

- My aquarium is 125lts and I currently have 5 mollies (3 fully grown and 2 younger ones) 7 neon tetras, 1 betta, 2 panda corries and a bristlenose pleco. The rest of the fish seem healthy.
- I bought my molly a bit less than a year ago. She was actually pregnant when I got her and I kept 2 of her young ones.
- I do water changes once per week (15 liters or so).
- Current water readings are: 0.25ppm ammonia, 0 nitrites, 40ppm nitrates

Thanks again for the help :)

Re: Molly swimming problem #4
Thank you both! It's much appreciated.

I'm continuing the Esha 2000 treatment but there is no improvement so far - this is currently treatment day 4.

Fishlady, the water is slightly alkaline in my region (7.7 PH). I'm attaching the water quality report, if it helps.

Molly swimming problem #7
Hi everyone,

My silver molly started having buoyancy issues last week. She can't swim horizontally but only moves keeping her head vertically down (please see attached photo).

I suspected swim bladder so I changed her diet to crushed peas for three days. At first she looked kind of better but then deteriorated again.

Could you please share any advice on how to help her recover? Is it swim bladder or could it be sth else?

Many thanks

Neon tetra growth #8
Hi guys,

And nice to meet you since I am new to the forum! :)
Would really appreciate some input from you for one of my neon tetras. It has developed a red growth on its mouth (see picture attached). It has actually grown more within the last week.

I bought Melafix for bacterial infections but haven't seen any improvement in the last 3 days.

Have you come across anything like this before and do you have any advice?

Many thanks,

Corinna
