I will be usung fluval straum as the substrate mixed with ferts and co2. I would like that beautiful carpet effect as well.
I have a new roma 240 tank and I am about to hardscape and set up. I have fluval strautum as the base of my tank. Do I need to buy some more fine powder to put over the top of the base layer? I am wanting a community tank and including a few snails and shrimp for the ground crew clean up.
Best place to buy Hardscape and Dragon Stones in Yorkshire, Leeds -England?
As I am setting up a new tank and will be hardscaping and planting in the next couple of weeks for a fishless cycle of a new roma 240 I wanted to ask where is the best place to buy wood and stone? my local garden centres have very little in the way of choice and are usually small pieces at extortionate prices.
Buying online is cheaper but you do not know what shapes or pieces you are buying.
Q: Any suggestions on places in Yorkshire area that have a good stock of stone and wood for tropical hardscaping? I am a bit lost with where to go and find a good supplier of all things of the fishy goodness variety.
I am based in Leeds, but open to travel to get some good hardscape materials.
