breeding prevention in mbunas #3
Hi, i have a 500L tank with 2 P. socolofi {blue powder mbuna} in , a pleco and an a young iridiscent shark{temporarley}

Iv just added the second socolofi today and immediatly noticed what i think is courting behavior between them.

I really dont want them to lay eggs or breed and wanted to ask for any advice on how to prevent this

thank you!

Re: Pangaisus Weired swimming #4
After reading again on whirling disease it seems like the symptoms are similar.. however is described as a disease that attacks salmons and coldwater fish so is it likley that this is the case?
and i read about the worm host,so does that mean that the parasite wont multiply and eventually the fish will heal by himself? i mean as long as i keep him isolated and without any contact with those worms
if you have any exp or knowledge on Whirling disease id like to hear, thank you

lethargic fantail #6
Hi ,ive rescued him 2 weeks ago and he is currently in quarantine of 60L with filter and oxigen. parameters are 0,0,10. During all this time he was happy and active but during the last 2 das he seems lethargic , spending alot of time on the bottom or just floating in the middle of the tank. He is eating and hes poop seems healthy, and i dont see any external signs of something wrong
What do you think?

here is the befor and after pics, you can clearly se that she lost alot of color.. shes in a 200L tank with on socolofi, theyr always fighting and he is stronger,its been 2 weeks since i seperate beteen her and the scalofi that was bugging her with a plastic net in the middle of the tank and she still hasnt regain her color but she seems to be ok and continue to try fihting him through the net ,even now..do you have any sugestions what to do? water parameters are 0,0,10 and both of them eating well.

blood parrot spitting #10
Hi, ive rescued a blood parrot fish about 10 days ago and shes in 450L tank. 2-3 days after ive rescued her i saw she is flashing so i started treatment with prazipro. the flashing has stopped, but yesterday she started to spit her food and not swallowing at all , even very small pieces. the tank is well filtered and water quality is great and she is getting alone well with the tankmates. other then spitting theres no signs of illness. Do you have any reccomendations on what to do?
