Biorb marine #3
Evening folks!

Here?s the situation, I currently have 3 tanks, all tropical, a 200 litre, a 125 litre and the dreaded biorb!

So the biorb only has red cherry shrimp and a couple of snails in it, which are all coming out, so I will be left with an empty tank.I?ve decided I?m going to try a marine tank, the temptation is to much to resist.

So the biorb 30 is plenty big enough for me, I was thinking 4 clown fish, 8 clown Toby?s some sort of box fish, several shrimp, hermit crabs and snails and maybe an eel of some description.

Can I just add salt to my existing set up and get the fish as the filter is already cycled

Cheers in advance........

Only kidding!

Right seriously, my intention is to set up the biorb 60 as a marine tank ( if possible/cost effective ) whilst I get a suitable tank off ebay, so can I get the biorb up and running so that when I get a proper tank I can just transfer it over and have a marine tank cycled already?

The biorb has had the normal filter/bubble tube removed and sealed up, and runs a small internal filter, also has a led light and gravel base.

iOS this apossible/a good idea? Would just save time if I could cycle the biorb prior to buying my tank.

Cheers
