inline co2 atomisers #4
Hi all
I'm looking into a pressurised co2 system. I know what I need for that and sorted.
The issue I'm having is what kind of in line atomiser I need. I have a fluval fx6 and I don't know which is best to fit to my pipe and which would give me the best results.
I have a 480l tank. 6ft ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft (rough measurement).
I've been doing a bit of research and its now spinning my head.
Any help is appreciated

Re: fluorescent tube lighting swapping to LED #5
If your light is a tube you can just swap the tube.
I personally would go to an electrical wholesaler like edmundson electrical or newey and Eyre. Someone will find something and cheaper

heating #6
hello all
my heater is not doing its job properly. I'm not even sure it works. the house seems to keep the water at the desired temp. its 500w.

I'm now looking into buying Fluval heaters. I am wondering if its best to have 2 heaters rather than 1?
my tank is 6ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft (LxWxD)and holds around 480l. I was thinking of getting 2 200w heaters and putting them at opposite ends under the filter outlets.

cheers

Re: want living plants instead of plastic #8
Oh and will having LED lighting be ok for plants or will I need to get a UV fluorescent light? I'm just going to get easy growers to start with.

Re: want living plants instead of plastic #9
Was going to get un-potted plants any way as they are cheaper. Hopefully they work out.

I'm only using the ammonia remover because it came in a pack. Just thought it would be beneficial. That being said I'm going to remove the carbon and ammonia remover and replace them with bio ball things and a water polisher in the top tray. I had doubts when you asked what I used ammonia remover for so did some research.

cheers for your help.

Re: Plants Alive or Aqua Essentials or ... #10
Im only asking because ive read somewhere else about there plants being nearly dead. I have as many good things as bad things so will still order them from plants alive. Its cheaper and if it dont work out for me then i havent lost to much money as my local store has a deal of 3 for ?11. As you say an expensive salad.

I have the same problem with my fish munching my plants and i havent had real plants for couple of years now but want to try again. As the natural look is the best look in my opinion. I decently bought a moss ball and that last 2 or 3 hours before that was gone. I supose its a nice healthy lunch.

Do you recommend any hard wearing plants?

Cheers for your reply
