This doesn’t sound good at all! How large a water change did you do?! It seems like a contaminant. I’m thinking a detergent or aerosol. It may even have been a treatment added at the waterworks. Please rinse all your equipment with copious amounts of water and do a second water change. This sounds very stressful hopefully all works out!
I'm looking to buy some aquarium wood for my fishtank (online as the choice is very limited here). Where would you guys recommend, also what size would I need it's for a 100cm by 30cm tank that's 40cm high. Would you recommend a single longer piece or two or three shorter pieces? Also I have a smaller 35cm by 40cm that's 35cm high. I think one piece is enough for it? Would you recommend bogwood or mopani? I have no idea. I don't want to spend a fortune if it won't look right. Any help would be appreciated. I had thought about looking for driftwood or fallen beech wood I could but is it worth the risk?
I'd go for barbs. It's a perfect size for them. You could have a nice tank of Tiger barbs:caresheet Another good choice would be rainbow fish. If you want something very simple have a look at this post:Temperate Roma tank
