Re: Lets do a poll.... #4
I'd love to have a Marine tank with the beautiful varieties of colourful fish and corals, but am not sure I could handle it, so I'd probably go Tropical too!

My tank temp is 80 degrees! #6
Hi all,
I'm a bit worried about the rising temperature in my aquarium-it has hit 80 degrees F (28C) and still appears to be rising!
I have done a water change today, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference, so I have now got a fan on in the room where the tank is situated. It's cooling me down, but the tank is still 80F!
I know Mountain Minnows don't really like temperatures any higher than 22C, so I'm a bit worried the heat will affect them. Also the Goldies are probably not supposed to have temperatures of this height.
All the fish seem fine though, so again I could be worrying unduly-is anyone else having problems controlling the temperature of their Coldwater tank?

Re: NOTHING TO DO WITH FISH #7
I know what you mean ,Julie, I was thinking about Warrington yesterday, which was close to home for both you and me.
I hate it when these things happen as they really affect me-but I can't stop watching the telly-it's a wierd feeling.
They are saying that they expect the death toll from the bus to rise-they have only given it as two so far,so even more people are going to find out they've lost loved ones. I feel so sorry for the people who don't know what's happened to their loved ones-it must be terrible.
I really can't understand how people can do this to each other.

Re: NOTHING TO DO WITH FISH #8
Naturally, my thoughts are with the families of the victims of yesterday's horrible attack, as are your's Sadie. I was just too shocked yesterday to say anything.
