Problem after problem after problem :( #2
I thought tropical fish keeping would be easier than just my fancy goldfish and lion heads, boy was i wrong :( i have found my male fighter dead and half eaten, and now one of my female guppies and another disapeared, presumed dead, i have now put the guppies (2) of, into another tropical tank with loaches and 2 awful crabs, what was killing them?

Re: missing fish #5
Thanks Violet :) my stock on profile is the same except the crabs, 1 fighter and 1 silver dollar, best change profile eh :) i think i will have to take the crabs back to the shop, i dont like them, they are in a seperate tank now with 2 sucking loaches. I test the water with a multi test strip, which is all fine.
Can the crabs go into a pond? probably not eh? Karen

They are the only things that we wish we had never bought, they are creepy and i think maybe nasty. Could these crabs of eaten the fighter????????

Re: platty help #7
Hi Violet, thanks for replying, just checked fishies and all seems well, bloating has gone, and scales were never out of the norm, when i posted this question, she did have some pooh hanging out, like the fancy goldfish always have, but now thats gone. Maybe she was a bit of a piggie at feeding time I did the multi test strip and all was fine with that
