Black Alge on my plants #1
Hello to all members it has been a while,

Any Ideas on how I can get rid of Black alge which is growing on my real plants, I have tried to remove the leaves that have it growing on them but it seems to just come back. I asked at my LFS and they suggested I try Algol from JBL it cleared up a little bit but it is still hanging in there. Any Suggestions !
Many Thanks

Re: FK Spring meet-up #2
Its sounds like it would have been fun!
But I can't make it as I have got to work a late shift on that day out on the beat keeping suffolk safe.

Perhaps I can make the next one.
Just a thought instead of making it an annual event how about every six months?

I want to hear all about how the day went.
On a fishy party thread

Have fun <'))><
Many Thanks

Re: Just for a bit of fun :o) What names have you given your fishy friends #3
Thank you to everyone that partisipated in my thread it was a bit of fun wasnt it and thank you for the nice comments.
Its nice to see that the fish we keep are thought enough of to to named as like one of the family.

Surely with all the members or visitors this website has there are more that would like to please share their fishy names with the rest of us.
All are welcome :)
Many Thanks

Members or guests ?? #5
Sorry to ask a non fishy question, but can some one please explain to me why the guests visiting this site dont just become members?
When ever I visit there are approx 18-25 guests
and 2-6 members online at the same time surly the guests can see the benifit of joining and being able to ask us questions and for the newbies just visiting they can ask questions and learn from our mistakes and not to believe everything their LFS tells them.

Ok I've now had my moment !!

Can anyone shed some light?
Many Thanks

Re: One of these in the lounge #10
Thinking outside the fake brick box
(sorry for the pun).
Perhaps it could be a new trend of fish keepers fetish birthing pools. For those who want to become one with their finned friends.
I showed my wife but she wasn't impressed she just gave me that look like dont even think of asking her to give birth in a fish pond.I tried to argue my point across about the benefits of its use after she was finished with it but no dice.
So I guess that is a No for having one in my house.
Many Thanks
