www.marineworks.co.uk - too good to be true ? #72
Hi ! I'm very new and so far corals seem to cost £30 a piece so this website stunned me ! Pulse corals for £12 ?? This seems too good to be true ! Does anyone have any experiences with these guys ?

Thanks for your help

Re: TL 450 setup #73
Hi ! You have an amazing setup!
Whilst a dab hand at tropical fish keeping marine is new to me so I hope you don't mind if I ask some very stupid sounding questions lol.

How long did you cycle the tank for?
How expensive were the corals e.t.c?

Thanks so much for your help sorry if I sound like a complete moron

Re: What do you think of the biorb? #74
cool - your slowly convincing me Tony lol. What mods did you do? I think i just need to do some reading up on water changes and the like because ive never had any encounters with salt aquariums.

How much would you say its cost you to get where you are now ?

Re: What do you think of the biorb? #75
I can manage lol
hmm none near me sell them will probz order off the net. The one thing that attraced me to the biorb was simplicity. With the orca doing a little research people are already talking about powerheads and modifications and the like lol. How do you find your orca?

Re: What do you think of the biorb? #77
wow thanks everyone for the speedy and good advice - I can see i'm going to like this forum !

Tony do you know where I could get the orca set up from?

I've been to maidenhead aquatics and only seen huge set ups for around £500 consequently I got it into my head that a marine tank other than the biorb would cost a fortune lol. I already have a successful tropical tank but feel ready to break into the marine world now.

What do you think of the biorb? #78
Hi there !

So i'm thinking of buying a 60l biorb and getting the marine conversion kit and I just wanted to get some peoples oppinions on it. Is it really suitable for marines? Is there a better set up for around the same price? ( £170)

I'd really love to hear what you think - thanks
