Re: Fitting internal filter #61
Also be careful that the silicone doesn't contain anti-mould ingredients ie NOT these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/anti-mould-silicone

Might be best to buy it from a fishkeeping retailer.

Re: Plant care: To prune or not to prune? :) #63
You could try uploading here: http://imgur.com/ and just link to it in a post.

It's possible your plant isn't a true aquatic plant and shouldn't be entirely underwater. It's quite common for attractive plants to be sold for aquariums when they aren't really suitable.

What's the address for the PFK group on facebook? I found a 'chat room' but it's not very busy.

Fish are 'intelligent and emotional' #68
Jonathan Balcombe argues in his new book that fish are often incredibly intelligent creatures, with consciences and the capacity to feel pain.

Re: dead goldfish - my orig text which wasn't showing? #70
I think I've finally fixed it site-wide.

If anyone's interested (probably not!) it's the HTML cleaning code has a different character encoding in the newer version of PHP...

http://php.net/manual/en/function.htmlspecialchars.php

So I had to change it back again with some extra code. Thanks PHP!
