Re: New online shop #42
I ordered a Sera aquatest kit from them last Friday and it arrived on Monday which I was very impressed with. It cost me ?29.69 with the discount and has 9 different tests for freshwater, think I'd seen it for ?50 odd over here.

Re: I've decided to keep sharks #43
I think I like the baby leopard one best, they're all nice though, but keep your eye on ammonia levels, you could get a spike

Re: Help! Tropiquarium lights stopped working! #44
Yes it is a bit far really I got the luminaire off ebay it's 3x24watt, 60cm, from eqj-trading in Germany. Won it for ?21 + ?20p+p but sometimes you can win them for as little as ?8. They are very good but the bulbs are really meant for marine at 10000k so I've swapped my bulbs. Still works out cheaper than the arcadia luminaires though. I won it on Sunday night and it arrived on Wednesday so was really pleased. Just type in t5 on ebay and you shoul find them. HTH

Re: Help! Tropiquarium lights stopped working! #45
Where abouts are you? I removed my Tropiquarium68 lid last week in favour of a T5 luminaire. You're welcome to it if you want.

Re: What filters do you all like? #48
I have been promising myself one of the newer, easier to prime eheims for years now but my old eheim 2215 classic filter refuses to die. Its 21years old and has had 1 replacement impellor and a sealing ring. You can't go wrong with an eheim in my opinion, but go for a more modern one than mine.

Re: New Bloke saying 'Ello' and seeking advice #49
Hello Smudge and welcome to FK.
I'm assuming both tanks have been previously used, if either of them have EVER had any copper based medications used in them, they will only be suitable for fish only, no inverts or corals. So if you're not 100% sure and want corals I wouldn't use either (though they can be used for fish quarantine tanks).

Re: Selecting Clown Fish #50
I think they've got a blooming cheek, charging you for something that should be done as a matter of course anyway. I would still QT them if I were you as well.
