Nitrate #33
Hey guys
ive just done my water tests and everythings fine apart from my Nitrate is a little high.
Am i right that the best way to fix this is with more regular water changes?

Re: humbug damsel #35
It could be because its the latest memember of your tank. Remember fish are teratorial.
For example my Yellow Tang was the first to enter my tank and still is the biggest.
When i added my latest fish (a regal tang) the yellow tang bullyed him by nudging him, swimming into him and slapping him with his fins.
This is just to certifiy that hes the boss, it settled now and they follow each other around :)

try waiting it out

Hammerhead Coral #36
Howdy all

I have some pretty awesome looking Hammerhead Coral in my tanks but ive noticed with the last passing days that it isnt as open as ive seen it.
What could be the issue? as obiously i want it to grow and dread the thought of loosing it

Re: V2 SKIMMER 400 #37
Jezzer i had the same problem as you for a couple of days but i think my fix should work for you too :)
I simply twisted the outlet round so it directly faced the water surface, this way air can still escape, and the water is fed straight back to your tank! :)

Re: super glue gel #38
Ahh that makes sense
yeh i hurd of people gluing pieces of live rock into there place using superglue.. i suppose aslong as theres no harmful chemicals in the glue it should all be ok.

I personally just used the weight of the water to hold my rocks ontop of each other
