Sorry 2010 i actually thought that barley straw was actually straw that was put into the pond via a hessian sack sorry..I was not aware it was an additive and as to the Cloverleaf Blanket Answer i dont think i have posted that regards brian

Hi David thanks for the reply so catfish are out of bounds then i have loked at some gudgeon and seen some quite nice ones and do look very simular to a kind of loach i may have a lok around for some many regards brian

Hi Fish Lady well i think i will have to give that a miss then..Are there any kind of loaches/catfish or simular you can actually buy for a pond that dont get to big am just after something different than koi/goldfish regards brian
