Re: Angel fungus ? #31
He probably won't want to go back now.

He likes swimming to the sides to stare at the cats and anyone that happens to be passing or making tea

Re: Shubunkin Disaster #32
Goldy,

Just to let you know Nancy (previously Sven ) is still fine.
Just as active, feeding, playing OK.
Other fish no longer bully her.

The fins split down to the spot/ulcer then regrew.
The red spots have almost gone, but the original wart thingys are still there.

I think I'll just leave her.
As long as she's happy and not passing it on to the other fish, I think it's fine (touches wood, crosses fingers)

Re: Angel fungus ? #33
Sorry Di I must haved missed your reply

Any way, the fungus cleared up and the angel went back to his tank (though it might have been a day early ?).

All was fine for a couple of weeks, then the fungus came back. This time much worse

Back to the small tank.
I had to treat twice this time, and after the first week with no improvement, I changed the water and dosed again.
That was on Friday. Yesterday the fungus came away but I think I'll keep him there for the full week.

Re: Shubunkin Disaster #35
I'll have had Nancy a year in July, but she was a good 3" plus tail when we got her and Sven, so I won't know if this is a seasonal thing with her yet or not.

I doubt it, but you(me that is ) never know

Re: Shubunkin Disaster #37
Not as bad as it was.

I put the adult Platies back in the 55g and let the fry out of their box into the 20g, so I can just feed as normal without fiddling with lids.

The weird thing with Nancy Shub is that she's still whizzing about feeding, grubbing in the gravel, playing with the other fish etc.

Her fins split down to where the warts were and stopped.
Again, she's slightly paler but otherwise seems happy

Re: Shubunkin Disaster #38
Nancy's spots do her scales raise up under the spot at all

Not so far, though I'm keeping a close watch on her.

The Angelfish's eye seems to be going down slightly.

They are still giving it argy-bargy with the pre-breeding thing, so I think it must have happened during that

Goldy

How's Tash ?

Nancy is now showing more red spots with white tips.
These are the sames as before the Anti Bacterial treatment, so I assume whatever it is has come back

You would think the other fish knew.
The big orange comet is giving her a hard time, so is one of the dojo's, but she still seems ok

Re: Shubunkin Disaster #40
Sort of warty thing that looks as though it could be rubbed off ?
