Re: Dumb Question #32
its a term used to decribe the way you split corals, you take off a small bit and then grow it up to get a new coral.

Re: Powercuts #33
yes that would solve the problem, and would mean the power can be off as long as it takes. I will have to see if any one hires them out around here.

Dose anyone have any thoughts on the dust and noise. It wont be right next to the tank but will be in the same room.

Powercuts #36
There is going to be some electrical work done on my house, nothing to extreme but the electric will be turned off for some time.

How long can my tanks go with out power, and what can I do to help protect my fish.

There my also be some dust and noise in the same room as the tank, what should I do to stop my fish getting to stressed.

Re: What to do with the fish whilst fixing a leaking pond? #38
You could compleatly cover it in a tarp, so the herons don't see it and to keep some of the sun off it

Re: Halti's / Easy Leaders. #40
I used one on my boarder collie, but he was still very young so took to it ok, we had to distract him a bit at the start cos he keept trying to rub it off.

I guess patents it they way to go, put it on for short periods with lots of rewards then hopefully he will strat to see it as a good thing.

Oz was actually better with his when we took him out, then he was to busy to notice it.
