not used them and i wouldnt trust them at all you've no control over it and as your not there to watch the process maybe better for a fish only system but with critters they will just carve it up, automatic fish feeders are much better iv been using an eheim twin feeder for 2 years with no problems it even does day to day feeding while im at work thats how reliable it is
hi sam thanks for that like i said wasnt having a go just the way i read your 1st post made it sound like keeping nems was easy lol and as most people reading this thread are newcomers to the hobby didint want them thinking nems was an easy choice, glad your nems are doing well they are a fantastic animal!
samuel nem's require powerful lighting or at least most do its strongly suggested that halides are a bare minimum for almost all nems but given todays high output t5's (ati and korralin ect) these should be suitable at shallower depths, also everything i have read (im no expert but have been researching into getting a bubbletip) suggests if a nems white its already dieing as they can take such a long time to pass away so to speak. nems should only ever be kept in a large well matured aquarium by experienced fishkeepers, im not saying your not but with so many nems taken out the sea and sentenced to death for the aquatics trade its about time we take responsibility for giving adequate advice HTH
have an arcadia series 4 pendant im looking to get rid of, its 18 months old looks like new works great 2x 250w 2x 39w attinics 1100mm wide. lamps changed 16/11/08 and havent been run for 3 months, comes with hanging kit. postage is not available although i would deliver (within a reasonable distance) at cost to buyer
At the current time its only offered to fishkeeping members but if it doesnt sell soon will be listed on a well known auction site
