i would ad an extra power head at the other end of the tank from your filter outflow pipe i have a simeler sized tank to yours and fine it needs more flow then my external can provide

another thing often missed is the tank turnover what filter do you have and what size is the tank

if they have tiger type striping then there probably a barb not a tetra defenitly put a vid up and ime sure we can id them for you

hi darw1 the reason we ask for picks is it goas a long way to identify the fish as many fish require such things as ray counts and very subtle differences in colore and finege attributes ti distinguish male from femail

i must ad that jag is correct in his estimates for the tank sizes you will be needing 400lt for the 2 green terrors min and that's if there a mated per as 2 adult males will rip each other apart in no time the same goas for his other tank sizing

ive kept green terrors in the past and the amount of aggression as well as the wast they produce really warrants the tank sizing as well as supreme filtration and agean the same goas for the other cichlids

please take all this info as it is meant to help you and your fish have a long and happy life getting the best out of there time with you and thrive

got what they deserve especially when you read the hole statement regarding the cockatial and that they have been doing this for more then just the one occasion if all pet shops where governed and policed like this it would make the trade so much better its unreal

could be to young to tell at the moment but femails have a prominent pink to reddish belly sometimes males have a faint pink tinge to there underside but no where near a vibrant
