if you dont have any snails in the tank try adding some
unfortunatly i dont know much a bout laoches

we havent found the leak yet
but we are gonna look tonight
if we find the leak or a capilary action we will cut away the silicon adn tehn add more
we do know a bout teh 48 hour drying time then we will re test the tank jsut to be on the safe side

we are gonna be doing that tonight once my son gose to bed he is terrified of hair dryers

on the down side the 30 of the fry i was trying to raise died im not suprised but its still annoying

i managed to et a 40 l storage box its all the store had so i hope that will do its only for a few days

just read the side of the sealant tube so yea not gonna happen to night and it need to be dry so i can do one to night leve it a few days and then test it
the main tank is 7 or 8 years old only been moved once
the spare tank is alitle older and has been moved i dont know how many times it used to be a snail tank be fore i put them in storage boxes ( i know a store i can get some nice strong ones from)
i will put an add in the free cycle but up here tehy only do a wanted weds but i can give it a go

i know it sounds nuts but you can find a good tank that some one got bord of and it could only cost you say a fiver to take it away

the other idea is asking at a pet store if they have nay displaymodles tehy are getting rid of you might still ahve to pay for it but not as much as new

i complealty empted the tank when i realsied it was leaking theres only a few mill in there if that ( have an autistic son at home who loves any kind of water i was worried he would try and drink it )
i could refill it will some water and do what you sujested

problem with teh second tank is i have no idea where that leek is ether i can keep refilling it but that is where teh fish are
i didnt think to check it was ok before i moved the fish over

its gonna be a realy long day
