Re: Tetra Gold Medal food for Goldfish #262891
Sounds like my Orandas would enjoy those pellets, especially if they sink, as the Tetra ones never sink! and James gulps air trying to catch them, i get worried about him having swimbladder trouble with all the air-swallowing

Re: Chloe's Birthday! #262893
Hi Linsay

Thanks! Don't talk to me about getting a new tank though as I am so jealous! I will have to wait for about a year before I can get another one!

I have suggested that you all buy me one for my birthday the other day! Fishyfeet said that (apparently) you have to be 26 before that happens!! I'm holding her to it!

Lionhead
A Daily Diet For Fancy Goldfish Eliminating The Need To Feed Live Foods

Hikari Lionhead has been scientifically developed to promote growth and the prominent lionhead shape of goldfish such as Ranchu, Oranda and Azumanishiki. These lionhead goldfish have a rare and exquisite beauty which makes them the elite class of all goldfish. Belief that natural, live foods were indispensable in creating the desirable lionhead shape were rebuffed after our long and strenuous laboratory research. Hikari Lionhead has been developed to produce superior results, while eliminating the parasite and bacterial problems associated with feeding live foods.

Ingredients: shrimp meal, cuttlefish meal, wheat flour, brewer's dried yeast, rice meal, spirulina, protease, vitamin A, vitamin D3, vitamin E, vitamin K3, vitamin B12, l-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate (stabilized vitamin C), magnesium carbonate, manganese sulfate, calcium iodate

Feeding Suggestions: For goldfish kept indoors, feed 2-4 times daily, provided water temperature is about 50 degrees. For goldfish kept outside the amount to feed will vary according to the season. During spring and autumn, feed once daily during the warmest part of the day. During summer feed freely during daylight hours, your fish have their best appetite during this season. During winter, feed Hikari Goldfish Wheat-Germ due to it's high digestibility and easy assimilation during this period when your goldfish's digestion cycle slows down. Please do not exceed the amount your fish will eat within a few minutes of feeding. Remove all remaining food after the feeding period to avoid over-feeding and the water quality problems associated with this action.

Re: Baba #262900
Amy

I am concerned that you didnt cycle your tank, black moors are very suseptable to internal bacterial infections, which may be due to the high nitrates until your filter builds up, please test the water daily and do water changes as necessary.
