I never got green water but my ponds were always heavoily planted, however it did get a bit murky the odd time or two.
Your water will clear.

HI

Well its happened, after all the pond books said it would, the pond is now like pea soup. The fish are wearing little strap on head torches to see where they are going, according to the books this will last about 2 weeks.

Please reasure me that i will one day see the bottom again. Do i need to do anything??????????

hi di, why dont you use plant propagators, what gardeners use to raise seeds in. it is a tray with a plug on, and you can set the temperature to what you want, i dont think they are very dear. you can get them at boot sales, for a couple of pounds. might be worth a try. takecare. kind regards. trigger.

I dont think you will find a black fantail as they are more chocolate brown and normally end up changing colours but if you find any do let me know

Have you seen the post about carbon I think I had something in that to reduce nitrates will check
