Re: steve irwin #21
I'm not suprised a person that gladly plays with poisonous snakes for fun though its a shame to see he bought it so early in life.

the worst thing will be his 8 and 3 year old kids and my condolences go to his family.

Re: live rock #23
well you can use ocean rock which is cheap but its no very pourous so its no real solution to the problem.

if you want to do the berlin method which is more for reefs then you would need to have 70k of live rock or the equivelent in ocean which would be something like 200k at least.

if your noot doing a reef just use ehiems probarbly 2-3 big pro 2's

Re: live rock #24
you still use the same amount just get better results.

if you want to do a fish only system then using big eheims would do the job though.

Re: unreal !!!! #28
yes but they do it at night when the least vunerable.

you should see the boxing shrimp.

the retain all there colours and there arms so they looks as much alive when theve shead.

only problem was i got confused once when min actually did die and couldnt find it for weeks (because i had taken its dead body out of the tank thinking it was just sheading.)

Re: live rock #29
it can be done at 1-2 lbs a gallon (so say a 100 gallon tank try and get 70-100 kilos)

your stocking amount is dictated by weater volume to though with all the rock bigger fish would obviously have to be given a miss.
