Hello! It's been a long time! #12
Thought i'd say hello! not been on here for ages! Not sure what the member turn around rate is on here... anyone remember me? Been so busy with work that i've not had chace to post very often!

Currently in Texas till christmas studying at a university here! My friend is kindly looking after my pico until i return!

Would be cool to see some familiar faces on here. Does anyone use the chat room?

i'd buy RO from an LFS or buy a unit to make ur own! will work out cheaper in the long run!

i would add live rock for filtration and then u can go for a reef tank

woops saw this to late... they have been collected from english beaches and their life cycle will be increased due to the hot temp of a tropical marine tank and die quicker...

Also be carefully not to contaminate you tank with stuff that may be on british shores....

i'd still add them as uve bought them, make sure u give them a rinse in salt water before u add them and keep an eye on them to pick out dead ones to stop amonia spikes...

you can buy phyto from South west marines in bristol. They also deliver! its not a bad price either... about ?5 for a bottle...

i had a fromia, it died after about 6 months That was in a 40L nano though.... i beleived the LFS that it would be ok..

i think i counted about 50 corals in there :-O all packed into 15Litres

they dont all need feeding.

only the sun coral, blastos, and duncan need feeding really. but they catch stuff floating around.



Just been doing some coral scaping so things look slightly different. will get some more pics up when everythin is settled
